B.Sc Nursing - Four year degree programme
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B.SC. NURSING:
1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission in sought.
2. Minimum Education:
a) A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination (10+2).
b) Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognizedby Central Government having science subjects and English only.
c) A candidate belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 45% as stated above.
d) English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for be eligible for admission to B.Sc.(N)
3. Candidate shall be medically fit.
4. Candidate shall be admitted once in a year.
5. Reservation as per the INC & State Govt.
Duration of Course:
The duration of course of Instruction for the degree of B.Sc. Nursing shall be four years including internship.
The period of four years will be divided as under: First Year : 12Months
Second Year : 12 Months Third Year : 12Months
Fourth Year : 12 Months (Including Rotating Internship of sixMonths)

Nutrition and Biochemistry
Nursing Foundation.
Psychology
Microbiology
English
Introduction to Computer.
SECOND YEAR:
Sociology
Medical Surgical Nursing-I
Pharmacology , Pathology , Genetics
Community Health Nursing-I
Communication and Educational Technology.
THIRD YEAR:
Medical Surgical Nursing-II (Adult including geriadrics )
Child Health Nursing
Mental Health Nursing
Nursing Research and Statistics.
FOURTH YEAR:
Midwifery and obstetrical Nursing
Community Health Nursing-II
Management of Nursing Services and Education
